Best Webcams Of 2016

Knowing how good a camera is before plugging it in and testing it yourself is really hard, almost impossible. That’s why people rely on guides like these to know what they are buying before they test it at home.

The webcams we will talk about will be good for either streaming online, video-chatting with your friends and family or keeping in touch with your buddies abroad.

1. The overall best webcam of 2016 – Logitech c920

This camera has excellent picture quality in multiple lightings. It has a wide FOV and is useful for groups. It can be digitally zoomed without much loss in quality, and auto-focus and image adjusting are absolutely amazing. The only negative thing that we would like to mention is that the auto color may be a bit washed out, but this can easily be adjusted in a software.

The average price of this webcam is around 75 euros, and for this price you won’t be able to get a better deal.

You may experience a minor inconvenience in terms of the automatic software installation. Sometimes Logitech cameras don’t prompt the installation right away, but you can easily download the software from their website, which we highly recommend.

2. The best budget webcam of 2016 – Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000

Not everybody wants to pay top dollar for a webcam and this is where Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000 comes in. This piece of equipment will cost you only about 25 euros, but you will definitely be amazed how good it is for that price.

Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000

It’s head is very flexible, easy plug-and-play usability, and it is by far the best webcam you can get for this price. The only downside of this camera is that the white balance may sometimes fluctuate when auto image adjustment is on.

3. The most versatile webcam of 2016 – Logitech c525

This camera has a huge range of motion and lets you angle in almost any direction. It features a Logitech’s webcam software which means that the auto image adjustment is amazing. It is designed in a way that when you’re traveling you can fold the base so that it protects the lens of the camera. The only downside is that some other webcams will offer better quality, but they won’t nearly be as flexible.
